Immersions & Residencies
Looking for a rich, immersive cultural experience in the jungle?
In a week, you can experience our signature educational programs and tours, and join the family for home-cooked meals and excursions.
In a month, you can dive into your own farm project, try out woodwork, planting, harvesting, or jungle craftsmanship, and fully lean back into the nature-based rhythms of jungle life. Join the El Cerrito team in taking spontaneous trips to pick fruit, or outings to the beach. Get to know more of the surrounding community and culture, and attend local events.

Residencies
Residencies are for those looking for a hands-on educational experience. You will learn not only tangible skills for maintaining off-grid systems, growing your own food, and building using natural materials, but also how to live in tune with nature. Relax into a different sense of time--one where nature decides, and we follow. In a month you'll have a chance to learn the history and context of the area, meet community members working on inspiring projects nearby, and leave your mark at the farm. Past residents have painted murals, built furniture, and invented compost toilets. Residents are encouraged to join an ongoing project or invent their own, and will be supported along the way by our team. When you get in touch, please let us know what you're most excited about working on!

Past residents have described their experience as transformational, shifting their perspective and giving them a chance to see a different side of themselves--a raw creative power that sparked lasting change in their lives. Join us to see who YOU would be in the jungle, surrounded by natural abundance and warm wisdom.
